BULLET POINTS FROM SENIOR CLASS MEETING MARCH 28, 2025

 

• Graduation Ceremony is still June 6th despite a snow day. That's 2 months away!

 

• Caps and Gowns should have been ordered by now. If you have not done it yet, IMMEDIATELY order yours online at www.jostens.com They will be delivered to the school on Friday, May 2nd.
• Search for Centralia WASHINGTON
• Choose Centralia HIGH SCHOOL
• Choose GRADUATION Shop
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Shop All Graduation Products”
• Scroll again almost to the bottom of the page and select Cap, Gown, Tassel & Stole Unit which is $61 plus tax and shipping.

• If you failed ANY classes during your time at CHS and have not yet made the credits up, you are at risk of not walking at graduation and MUST contact your counselor today.
• Mr. Embrey set May 16 (that is 6 weeks from today) as the decision day to check credits and approve who will and will not be walking at graduation
• MAKE SURE YOU ARE PASSING ALL YOUR CURRENT COURSES!
• If you’ve been assigned APEX, you must email Ms. Eiland and be claimed for Study Hall or arrange to test at lunches or after school for your pretest and unit tests. This must be completed by May 16!
• If you needed to complete your Washington State History, you need to talk to Mr. Rooklidge right away.

• Senior Pictures must be approved by you!
• These are the pictures that will be in the yearbook, on the banners, and in the local newspaper
• If you do not have a picture, you will not have a banner. It is your responsibility to make sure the pictures are correct. Mrs. Jones has sent for every student to come sign off on their photo. If you were absent or have Running Start, it is your responsibility to contact her. 
• If you have questions, please email Mrs. Jones! [email protected]
• If you do not have a picture, your name will still be in the paper, just no picture.

 

• We only print ONE official diploma for you. It is your responsibility to make sure your name is correct. 
• The name you have in Skyward is the name that will be printed on your diploma. 
• If it is a nickname, you may want to change it to your legal name
• You may, or may not, want your middle name
• Diploma names will be turned in for printing on Monday, April 14. Email Ms. Eiland if you need to make any changes ASAP.

• If you are applying to college or trade schools and need an official transcript, you MUST contact Mrs. Haskins. She sends them directly to the college with the seal/stamp showing that it is official. 
• Final transcripts are sent at the end of the year after your graduation date. 
• If you are Running Start, that date will be after Spring quarter ends mid-June

• Graduation Practices are Mandatory. Running Start/College and New Market knows you have practice. Put dates on your calendar now.
• Wednesday June 4th
• Friday June 6th
• Start thinking about who you are going to walk with
• ONLY TWO people walk the aisle
• I don’t need to know now. But you will need to know by Wed. June 4th

• Graduation Tickets
• Graduation is open to the public
• Each graduate will receive 7 tickets so your friends/family may enter EARLY 
• You will receive your tickets at the first practice (Wednesday June 4th)

 

• There will be TWO Google Forms sent to your email after this meeting to collect your nominations for: 
• Graduation participants.
• Teacher speakers from elementary/middle/high schools 
• scholarships 
• tassel turners
• Song you want to hear at Senior Prom
• Round Two of the voting will take place the week after Spring Break!
